Emergency pool repair in Houston

Rapid water loss, pump failure, heater or filter faults, overflow and electrical faults. Call us now.

Chapter 01

The faults that cannot sit

Some pool problems are an annoyance and some are damage in progress. Water dropping faster than Houston evaporation explains is the first kind people miss: the skimmer mouth goes dry, the pump pulls air, and a motor that runs without water cooks its own shaft seal in a short stretch.

A dead pump is the quieter version. The motor hums and will not spin, or the breaker trips the moment it starts, and the water stops moving through the filter and the heater. A heater that short-cycles, a filter pressure gauge climbing past its clean reading, a pool that overflows the coping after a storm: each one points at a part that is failing now, not in a month.

Electrical and automation faults sit in their own category. A tripped GFCI that will not reset, a controller that goes dark, or a light that flickers in the niche means power and water are sharing a path they should not. A broken drain cover, a loose ladder or a loose rail is a safety problem even when the water looks perfect.

How we triage a failing pool

Call (281) 789-4584 and tell us what you see: where the water level sits against the skimmer, what the pump sounds like, whether a breaker has tripped, what the filter gauge reads. Those four facts usually narrow the fault before anyone drives out, and we will tell you what to switch off in the meantime.

On site the checks are physical. A bucket test separates a leak from evaporation. A pressure gauge on the filter tells us whether the media is blocked or the pump is starved. An amp reading on the motor shows a failing winding before it quits. A flow switch and thermostat check on the heater shows why it fires and drops out.

You get the finding and the options in plain words before any part is ordered or any wall is opened. If the fix is a capacitor, we say capacitor. If the pump is past saving, we say that too, and what a replacement involves.

Chapter 03

What waiting does to a pool

A pump that ran dry once may run fine for a week and then seize, which is why a repair done late tends to cost a pump and a motor instead of a seal. Low water that is left alone exposes the tile line and the plaster above it to the sun, and exposed plaster dries and cracks.

Water that turns green after a heater or filter fault is another slow cost: the chemistry, the filter and the surface all have to be brought back, not just the equipment. Electrical faults near water do not get better on their own, and we will not leave one half-fixed.

If a Houston pool is showing any of this today, the next step is simple. Call us now at (281) 789-4584, or use the quote form for anything that can wait for a reply.
